Can you afford to lose € 71 million of revenues a year? This is the likely thought of Italian major TV companies after having read about the approval by the Senate of a gaming law named "delega fiscale law" providing a potential gambling advertising ban during TV and radio programs.
As reported in a previous post, the Italian Parliament has passed regulations on gaming advertising that will come into effect from the 1st of January 2013. However, in order to clarify the scope of such gaming laws, the Italian gambling authority, AAMS has issued instructions on logos and statements to be incorporated in any gambling ad.
After months of discussions, the Italian Government has finally adopted the so called Balduzzi decree introducing gambling advertising regulations.
